Severe Thunderstorms hit the PARK

Several severe thunderstorms hit Anderson County around 1800, July 21, 2008. After already having two calls prior to the storm, At the start of the storm Homeland Park was dispatched to a down power line. During this time R3 and E3-1 stood by at the station only to be dispatched to a structure fire on Acker Rd.. This was the start of a long list of calls that ranged from power lines down, to trees on houses, to cars under trees, etc.. In total HPFD ran around 16 calls in 7 hours.
