Structure Fire on West Shockley Ferry

Homeland Park and Centerville Fire Department is dispatched to a structure fire on West Shockley Ferry Rd. Upon arrival of Engine 3 crews found a two car garage involved in fire and not the home. 3's crew deployed an 1 3/4" hand line to one of the garage openings and proceeded to knock down the fire. Also responding was Engine 3-1. Truck 9 and Tanker 9 was cancelled due to a quick knock down from 3's crew. A total of 1000 gallons of water was used. The fire was ruled accidental by electrical short. The owner lost everything inside the garage including 2 vehicles.
